Bakong temple
Bakong Temple, located in the Roluos group near Siem Reap, is one of Cambodia’s most significant historical sites. Built in the 9th century under King Indravarman I, it served as the state temple of the ancient Khmer capital, Hariharalaya, and is considered one of the earliest temple-mountains in Khmer architecture.
